About

Hi! I’m Mia – a future trainee solicitor with a top 20 UK firm encouraging and supporting social mobility into the legal profession.

As an underrepresented student myself, I understand the difficulties people form similar backgrounds face when trying to enter the legal profession. Through my entire legal journey I have always felt as though I do not fit in with my peers, as most of them were from very different backgrounds to myself.

That is why I first started my legal blog through Instagram (@legallypossible) to show students who may be from disadvantaged backgrounds in particular that anything really is possible if you work and dream hard enough.

Therefore, my platform is designed to help, motivate and inspire all students, particularly from disadvantaged backgrounds, by showing what has worked for me through my legal journey and how I managed to secure a training contract with a top 20 UK law firm commencing in 2021.

I completed my LLB Law degree at the University of Reading from 2016-2019. I then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course LLM at the University of Law in Guildford from 2019-2020.

So, stick with me if you want some motivation, positivity and inspiration to help you kick-start your legal career.
